Wellington Hydrogeology Ltd. is an independent consulting firm based in Puslinch, Ontario, providing specialized hydrogeological and environmental consulting services for land development projects across southern Ontario.

Our focus is to deliver practical expertise and technical insight that supports sustainable and responsible land development. Our clients include municipalities, private landowners, and residential, commercial, and industrial developers. We also provide subcontract hydrogeological and environmental services to engineering and environmental consulting firms.

Wellington Hydrogeology is registered with Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) to provide professional geoscience services within the province of Ontario.

We pride ourselves on building strong, collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders in the land development industry. We regularly work alongside planners, ecologists, geotechnical engineers, architects, stormwater and wastewater design engineers, building science professionals, and other environmental consultants. We also engage closely with municipal and provincial regulators, conservation authorities, and source protection agencies to ensure our clients receive clear, coordinated, and technically sound guidance throughout the approval process.

Through these partnerships, we help navigate complex environmental and regulatory requirements while supporting informed, efficient, and sustainable development outcomes across Ontario.

Angie Mason

Senior Hydrogeologist and CEO

Angie brings over 18 years of hydrogeological, environmental, and project management experience to groundwater management and land development projects across Ontario.

Her expertise includes hydrogeological assessments for land development, Permit to Take Water (PTTW) applications, groundwater and surface water impact assessments, wetland studies, water balance assessments, pumping tests, construction dewatering evaluations, onsite infiltration assessments, private well surveys, groundwater interference investigations, and environmental due diligence services. She also has experience conducting Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and has completed hundreds of Designated Substances Surveys for commercial, institutional, industrial, and government facilities.

Throughout her career, Angie has provided hydrogeological consulting, technical review, and peer review services for a wide range of public and private sector clients, including municipalities, conservation authorities, provincial agencies, developers, consulting firms, industrial clients, golf courses, and private landowners. Her experience spans projects ranging from individual rural developments to large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Angie holds a Master’s degree in Earth Science from the University of Waterloo and is licensed as a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) in both Ontario and Alberta.

Angie is an active member of the geoscience and environmental community and is committed to supporting the next generation of professionals. She serves as a Councillor-at-Large and mentor with Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO), and as both a mentor and Program Advisory Committee member for Conestoga College's Environmental Engineering Applications program. She is also a volunteer and organizing committee member for the annual Waterloo Wellington Children's Groundwater Festival, helping promote groundwater awareness and environmental education. Her previous service on the City of Guelph Environmental Advisory Committee reflects her long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship, professional leadership, and community engagement.
